Alba Solà Garcia is the project manager of the ERC project REPGOV. She contributes the overall coordination of the tasks required to meet the project goals.

She received her degree in Humanities (UPF, 2009), and specialized in the field of literature with a master's degree in Creative Writing (UPF, 2010) and another on Latin American Literature (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2011). She recently received her PhD from the Department of Hispanic and Portuguese Studies at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), in Philadelphia, USA. Her doctoral dissertation "Campesinos, punks y charnegos. Luchas autónomas por la descolonización del pasado y del territorio en las periferias urbanas de Barcelona (1970-1992)", built upon cultural, urban and memory studies, an intense archival research and oral interviews, is partly contained on her digital archive Memoria(s) de la periferia de Barcelona.
