Biography
Currently a PhD candidate in the programme Politics, Policies and International Relations at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Enea Dufour-Careaga works as part of the research project “A contested European Union in a fragmenting international order (COURAGE)”, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (Proyectos de I+D de Generación de Conocimiento).
Her research looks at the EU´s use of unilateral and geoeconomic tools in trade and climate policy, in the context of a fragmenting international order.
Her research interests are varied, ranging from the EU’s external relations, specifically EU-Asia and EU-LAC relations, to external climate policies, or EU human rights norm diffusion capacities.
Prior to her pred-doc, she interned in the General secretary of European Affairs of the French Prime minister services (Paris), as well as in the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation (Tokyo).
