Biografía

I am an associate professor and the co-coordinator (with Laia Maynou) of IBEI’s MA in Public Policy. My research covers topics in public policy, international political economy, European integration, and competition policy. I teach courses on game theory, international political economy, public policy analysis, and quantitative research methods.

The results of my research have appeared in several academic journals and presses, including (in alphabetical order) Acta Politica, Cambridge University Press, Cuadernos Europeos de Deusto, European Law Journal, European Political Science Review, European Union Politics, German Politics and Society, Global Policy, International Journal of Public Administration, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Integration, Journal of European Public Policy, Review of International Organizations, Routledge, etc.

Before joining IBEI I held various positions at the European Parliament (Luxembourg), the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (Florence, Italy), the University of Exeter (Exeter, UK), the Office of Fair Trading (London, UK), the Institute for Advanced Studies (Vienna, Austria), and ESADE Law School (Barcelona, Spain).  

I speak English, French, Greek, and Spanish, and I have a working knowledge of Catalan and Italian.
